  Alex Therrien

Northwest Territories, Canada

Alex is originally from Halifax, but has French roots in New Brunswick. Since 2016, he has lived in the Northwest Territories. He has been hunting and fishing since a very young age.

An avid adventurer, Alex works as a pilot in northern Canada, giving him access to the Canadian backcountry. He makes several trips a year to the Mackenzie Mountains and the tundra.

His favorite hunt is Dall sheep, an extreme mountain hunt. Since 2020, Alex holds the Boone and Crocket world record for the largest Muskox.

As an extreme hunting and fishing enthusiast, he will be able to contribute to the testing and development of NBC products.

Emma Robert, North Backcountry ambassador

  Emma Roberts

Aude, France

Born in Toulouse, she now lives in the Aude region of southern France. Passionate about nature and wildlife, she studied biodiversity management. After a number of professional internships in the field of freshwater fish, including one in Quebec at the Port Daniel wildlife reserve in 2010, Emma is now working as an environmental research officer at the Fédération des Chasseurs de l'Aude. Introduced to hunting by her husband, who is a professional hunting guide, her passion is mountain stalking.

She is lucky enough to hunt Isards, Mouflons and Cerfs. A lover of the Nordic countries, she regularly travels to Sweden to hunt Grouse on skis. Involved in the community, Emma is president of a women's hunting association, les chasseresse audoise.

NBC products will be tested to the max on hunts and hikes in the Pyrenees mountains.

CHARLES GINGRAS, North Backcountry ambassador

Levis, Quebec

Born in Lévis, south of Quebec City, he spends most of his time in the forest. From a family of avid hunters, Charles was introduced to hunting at the age of 3. Since the age of 12, he has hunted every species possible in Quebec. An avid hunter and traveler, he has made several hunting trips to Canada and the United States. 

For many years, Charles has worked for Chassomaniak and as a hunting guide at L'ours. A team player, hard-working, determined and motivated, he will use North Backcountry products to the extreme.

Fanny GODET, North Backcountry ambassador

Haute-Savoie, French Alps

Fanny is originally from Savoie in the French Alps. She lives in Haute-Savoie near Lake Annecy. She is a forestry technician by trade and a mountain hunting guide. Fanny is jovial, passionate, simple and authentic. She loves sharing and conviviality. Introduced to hunting by her uncle at the age of 11, she's still just as keen today. She is lucky enough to share her passion with her husband, who is a gunsmith in Haute-Savoie. Fanny mainly hunts big game with hounds or stalking. She also hunts small mountain game with her Picardy Spaniel.

Hunting chamois in the mountains is a demanding and physical activity that allows you to experience incomparable emotions in magnificent landscapes. She publishes these adventures on social networks to defend the values of hunting and share them with other enthusiasts. For Fanny, hunting is more than a passion, it's a way of life. Thanks to her many outings in the mountains, she will be able to put NBC products to the test.

Shawinigan, Quebec

Annie Bilodeau lives in Mauricie, a beautiful region where fishing, hunting, outdoor activities and snowmobiling are easily accessible. Some fifteen years ago, she developed a passion for fishing, and hunting came along the way. Annie is always in fishing and hunting mode, ready for a new adventure whatever the season. In winter, she enjoys snowmobiling and ice fishing. For the past five years, hunting has been an important part of Annie's life. 

She has worked in the fishing and hunting industry for many years. She is the first woman in Quebec to work as a sales representative in the world of hunting, fishing and the outdoors, with a focus on multi-species fishing and hunting. She knows how to put our products to the test and help us develop them.

Chicoutimi, Saguenay, Quebec

Alexandre Blanchet hails from Chicoutimi, Quebec, and his passion for hunting was passed on to him by his father at an early age. He hunts all of Quebec's big game, as well as waterfowl and coyotes. His love of exploring new territories allows him to push his limits to the limit, and he knows how to adapt to the game he's after.

Charles Gravel, originally from the Saguenay region, was introduced to fishing by his grandfather at an early age, and quickly became a great lover of nature and Quebec's big game. Charles also loves prospecting and capturing images in the forest with his surveillance cameras.

Alex and Charles have been hunting partners for 10 years. They founded BuckÉ in 2020 to share and exchange their hunting and prospecting trips.

Guillaume Lambert and Pierre-Luc Laliberté. In Old German, Lambert translates as Landberth, meaning Earth and illustrious. The Laliberté family name speaks for itself.

The union of the 2 names forms TERRITOIRE LIBRE! The guys balance their teaching profession, family life with their 2 daughters, prospecting, hunting and fishing. The symbiosis of these 2 childhood chums creates adventures that are sometimes extreme, sometimes moving, but always intense!

TERRITOIRE LIBRE is all about authenticity and real, unadorned moments in the forest. Guillaume and Pierre-Luc often find themselves in situations where their equipment is put to the test. So they'll enjoy using and testing the many North Backcountry products!
