Order processing
The North Backcountry team will process your order within 2-5 business days for in-stock products.
Error in entering the delivery address
It is the customer's responsibility to enter a valid and error-free delivery address. If an error is made when entering the address, additional costs for returned packages will be charged to the customer.
Follow-up email
When your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number for your order by email. Please note that there is a 24 hour delay before the tracking number is activated by the carrier.
FREE delivery in Canada* on orders of $125 or more!
Delivery is FREE on orders of $125 or more before tax for the following provinces:
*Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, British Columbia.
A reduced delivery rate will be offered for remote provinces and territories.
Packages will be delivered by Canada Post within 2-10 business days, depending on your location in Canada. We cannot be held responsible for any additional delays caused by the carrier.
Remote areas and International deliveries
For all deliveries to remote areas or international destinations, please contact us contact us in order to agree on the most advantageous carrier and the delivery time, according to your geographical situation.
Return of goods
NBC accepts returns and exchanges of products purchased on northbackcountry.ca within 15 days of the date you receive your order, provided that;
- The item has not been used or damaged.
- The item is still in its original packaging and in new condition with the label.
- You have the documents and the receipt for the transaction.
However, if any of these conditions are not met, the return will be refused and the items will be returned to you at your expense.
For all exchanges or returns, you must fill out the return form within 15 days of receipt.
A return number will be given to you BEFORE SHIPPING.
All shipping costs, for an exchange or return, are at your expense.
Lost package
If your package was lost in transit, please notify us by email within 10 business days of the order date.
Our team will follow up with the carrier.
Missing or damaged item
We pack your order with care so that your purchases arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
If you receive a damaged item, or if an item is missing from the carrier, please fill out the claim form and include a photo of the damaged package or item within 5 business days of receiving the package.
NBC is not responsible for the handling of your package by the carrier. If the package has been damaged by the carrier, our team will ensure that a claim is made on behalf of the customer with the carrier.
If an agreement is reached with the carrier, we will proceed with the refund or a new shipment.
Limited Warranty
NBC offers a limited lifetime warranty on these products.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product, to the original owner with proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover commercial use, improper maintenance, neglect, abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear that occurs during the life of a product.
We will repair or replace items covered by the warranty at no cost to the customer. Damage not covered by warranty may be submitted to us for repair. These will be done at a reasonable cost to the customer.
